Jason J. Ricardo

Jason J. Ricardo is a Founding Member of Ricardo, Wasylik & Kaniuk, PL (“RW&K”), and serves as Overall Co-Managing Partner and Managing Partner for RW&K’s West Coast Offices (in Dade City and Tampa) and Chair of the Family Law and Litigation Departments.

Jason has been practicing law in the state of Florida since 1995, during which time he has litigated more than 20 jury trials and hundreds of adversarial hearings. It is Jason’s extensive experience in the courtroom that sets him apart from “paper pushers” whose sole experience in the area of foreclosure involves handling the paperwork associated with mortgages, titles and signings.

Prior to founding his own firm, Jason served as a State Prosecutor in Pensacola and was a successful litigator at some of Central Florida’s most respected law firms.

As a Floridian and a homeowner, it is only natural that Jason would have developed a keen interest in the legal issues affecting Floridians, and has focused his practice in the areas of Family Law, Unemployment Litigation and Foreclosure Defense Law.

Jason takes a highly personal approach to the practice of law. He is dedicated to helping his clients survive tough economic times and cope with the onerous burden of debt. In short, like the other attorneys at RW&K, he is committed to helping people get a second chance at financial security.

Jason earned his juris doctorate from the Florida State University College of Law, with honors, and also won the Book Award in Estate Planning. A Florida resident for most of his life, he has lived in Dade City since 1996. Jason has been married for 11 years and is the father of three boys and one girl.
